Bespoke Welding

We deployed the Precision Arc Engineering bespoke fabrication and welding talents in the complete re-design of a factory layout in Northamptonshire.

Fabrication Of 304 Stainless Steel Pipework

Precision Arc Engineering fabricated and welded 2-inch, 3.5-inch and 4-inch sch10 (2mm wall thickness) 304 stainless steel pipework to supplied drawings. All pipework was purged with Argon high purity gas to ensure clean internal welds and to avoid contamination.

Installation Of 304 Stainless Steel Pipework & Instruments

We installed the PAE-manufactured pipework to supplied drawings. The final stainless steel pipework fabrication was completed on-site to ensure the correct alignment. Pipework was then removed and welded back at the PAE workshop.

All clamps, bolts and gaskets (PTFE) were supplied by Precision Arc Engineering to avoid any complications.

Fabrication of 304 Stainless Steel Manifold

PAE fabricated and welded a 2-inch sch10 304 stainless steel manifold to supplied drawings. All pipework was purged with Argon high purity gas to ensure clean internal welds and to avoid contamination.

The stainless steel manifold was capped both ends with 2-inch tee on the inlet.

4 off manifold outlets were finished on a 0.25 BSP thread.

Fabrication & Installation of Mild Steel Balcony

We fabricated, welded and installed a mild steel balcony from 30x30x2mm box section handrail, with 4.5mm mild steel durbar anti-slip flooring, with 40x40x3 mild steel box section support frame. 100x3mm kick plate was fitted to internal edge.

The balcony was galvanised and powder-coated matt black.  We always recommend galvanising before powder-coating for external use. Our PAE structural engineer approved all drawings prior to fabrication.

Fabrication and Installation of Mild Steel Stairs

We fabricated, welded and installed mild steel stairs from 200x75x23 channel with durbar anti-slip treads and 30x30x2 mild steel handrails. The stairs are a bolt-together system.

The stairs were galvanised and powder-coated matt black, as the mild-steel balcony.
